Aug 13,  · Download a free copy of VirtualBox, replace.me (there are Mac version as well), install a copy of Windows XP, then install the original game CD. Alternatively, install DOSBox, and install Windows inside DOSBox, and then install Civ2. I used the VirtualBox + Windows XP methods on both my Windows 10 and MacBook, all working fine. Here is the video game “Sid Meier’s Civilization”! Released in on DOS, it’s still available and playable with some tinkering. It’s a strategy game, set in a managerial, turn-based and 4x themes and it was released on Mac, Windows 3.x, Amiga and Atari ST as well/5(). Civilization II does take a whopping 10 blocks of memory per game, which I suppose can be attributed to all the statistics it has to hold. So don’t be disappointed if you move your civilization along at a nice clip and decide it’s time to go to work or school, only to discover that you don’t have enough blocks free on /10(9).
